The British Ecological Society and other partners are hosting a Conference on 24-25 June in Birmingham, to share best practice around habitat restoration.
The British Ecological Society is delighted to organise this symposium in collaboration with the Ecological Continuity Trust, Natural England, National Trust, RSPB, Woodland Trust, WWF, and the UK Centre for Ecology & Hydrology.
Numerous entities are collaborating with landowners to establish a growing array of expansive landscape initiatives aimed at ensuring a more resilient future for our climate, human population, and natural environment. The majority of these entities possess a multifaceted nature, aiming to achieve various outcomes that span across the environmental, social, and economic domains.
This 2-day BES symposium at the University of Birmingham aims to foster a more unified community focused on large-scale land, freshwaters, and coastal/marine systems. It is the inaugural event in a series of interconnected events organised by our partnership, which welcomes new members. The purpose of these events is to promote the exchange of best practices, advocate for more standardised and efficient monitoring and evaluation methods, and facilitate the development of new projects that will strengthen our evidence base and yield the most significant results.
