Turriff Show, is the biggest two-day agricultural show in Scotland, attracting around 24,000 people, including those involved in farming as well as many non-farming people who enjoy the show for its wide array of activities.
There are over 300 exhibitor stands, together with top-notch food & drink and arts & crafts stands that included producers from Aberdeenshire and other regions.
The exhibition has been hosted in the town located in the north-east region since the year 1864. Initially, it was scheduled to take place on a Tuesday in order to align with the Turriff “mart day.”
Presently, the programme gives a total of £85,000 in monetary rewards and 330 accolades. The show offers a diverse selection of 1,554 classes, encompassing many categories such as superior cattle, sheep, and horses, as well as working dogs, poultry, and vintage cars.
